How to check court case status online in Indore

There are two main ways to check your court case status online in Indore:

1. Using the e-courts website:

This is the official website of the Indian judicial system and provides access to case information across various districts in India. Here’s how to use it for Indore:

  • Go to the e-courts website: https://ecourts.gov.in/
  • Select Madhya Pradesh as the state.
  • Choose Indore as the district.
  • You can choose from two search methods:
    • By FIR number: This is ideal if you know the FIR number associated with your case. In the “Case Status : Search by FIR number” section, select the court complex, police station, FIR number, year, and type of case (pending or disposed). Then, enter the captcha and click “Search.”
    • By petitioner/respondent name: If you don’t know the FIR number, you can search by the names of the parties involved. Under “Case Status : Search by Petitioners/Respondents Name,” select the court complex, year, and type of case. Enter the names of the petitioner and respondent, then fill in the captcha and click “Search.”
  • The results will display the case type, case number, FIR number (if applicable), parties involved, and the latest status update. You can also click on the “View” button to see more details about the case, including past hearings and orders.

2. Using the District & Sessions Court, Indore website:

    • By Party Name: If you don’t have the case number, you can search by the names of the parties involved. Enter the names, year, and court complex/establishment. Then, enter the captcha and click “Search.”
  • The results will display the case type, case number, party names, advocate names, act involved, and case code. You can also click on the “View Details” button to see more information about the case, including the next hearing date and previous orders.

Additional Tips:

  • Make sure you have the correct court complex/establishment selected before searching.
