Types of mutation of property in Indore?

There are two types of mutation of property in Indore:

  • Mutation of agricultural land
  • Mutation of non-agricultural land (residential and commercial properties)

The process of mutation is slightly different for agricultural and non-agricultural land.

Mutation of agricultural land

To mutate agricultural land in Indore, you will need to submit the following documents to the Tehsildar Office:

  • Mutation application form
  • Stamp paper of the required value
  • Death certificate of the deceased owner (if applicable)
  • Indemnity and affidavit stamp paper of the required value (if applicable)
  • Up-to-date tax payment receipts
  • Sale deed or gift deed (if applicable)
  • Will (if applicable)
  • Any other relevant documents

The Tehsildar Office will then verify the documents and update the government records. Once the records have been updated, you will receive a mutation certificate.

Mutation of non-agricultural land

To mutate non-agricultural land in Indore, you can either apply online or offline.

Online

  1. Go to the Madhya Pradesh State Portal website.
  2. Click on the Citizen Services tab.
  3. Under the Land Records section, click on Mutation of Property.
  4. A new page will open with information about the mutation process and the required documents.
  5. Click on the Apply Online button.
  6. Create an account or log in to your existing account.
  7. Fill out the application form and attach the required documents.
  8. Pay the mutation fee online.
  9. Submit the application form.

Offline

  1. Visit the Tehsildar Office in your area.
  2. Collect a mutation application form from the office.
  3. Fill out the application form and attach the required documents.
  4. Pay the mutation fee at the office counter.
  5. Submit the application form to the Tehsildar.

Once you have submitted the mutation application, the Tehsildar Office will verify the documents and update the government records. Once the records have been updated, you will receive a mutation certificate.
